Presently, this subject becomes particularly important in Mexico due to the deep reform process the country is going through, and because of the controversial position adopted by the Mexican Court with relation to these limits.This article attempts to provide a general outlook of restrictions to the reforming power and, particularly, of the position adopted by the Supreme Court of Justice in that respect.Los límites a la reforma constitucional es un tema siempre vigente en el derecho constitucional, ello es así por las posibles arbitrariedades que pueden cometer los órganos detentadores del poder mediante las modificaciones a la Constitución. En México, hoy en día este tema cobra particular relevancia por el profundo proceso de reforma que se vive, y por la controvertida posición que la Corte mexicana ha adoptado en relación con los límites a la reforma.
