To accomplish this, the start of the poverty in the world is located temporarily, which leads, on the one hand, to distinguish between poverty and inequality and, on the other, to observe how has been tried to approach the analysis of the phenomenon of poverty, that still remains valid, since 40 % of the world population suffers it.Este artículo analiza los antecedentes relacionados con la pobreza y hace una síntesis de los principales elementos del fenómeno que permiten abordar el estudio del mismo.
