The objective of this article is to problematize the hypotheses that have structured the study of the world of labor in Mexico in the mid-19th century and its relationship with the political language of the nation, in particular, the liberal. The complicated hypothesis of the «impossible reception» of socialism in the Mexican world of labor in the 19th-century will be the starting point for the development of an interconnection between the historiography of the world of Mexican labor and the conceptual history of the last decades. Through a discussion with the proposal of the «slip of citizenship», this article seeks to deepen the historical ridge carved out by the concepts of nation which interpose the hegemonic vision supported by the language of state nationality of the mid-19th century. In fact, with the creation of the Mexican «language of labor» other slips of the language of the nation took place, which debunk it from the homogenous view underpinned by the liberal language of the nation. As it is the product of an interaction that constituted an «intersocial milieux», through which the Mexican language of labor and French socialism communicated, it is also a fundamental condition for our understanding of the modern hybrid dimension of the Mexican nation leading up to 1850. |

La complicada hipótesis de la «imposible recepción» del socialismo en el mundo del trabajo mexicano decimonónico será el punto de partida para la elaboración de un entrecruce de la historiografía del mundo del trabajo mexicano, con la historia conceptual de las últimas décadas. A través de una discusión con la propuesta del «desliz de la ciudadanía», se buscará profundizar el surco histórico trazado por los conceptos de nación que interponen la visión hegemónica respaldada en el lenguaje de nacionalidad estatal de mediados de siglo XIX. En efecto, en la formación de un «lenguaje del trabajo» mexicano ocurrieron otros deslices del lenguaje de la nación, que la desencastran de una visión homogénea. Al ser producto de una interacción que constituyó un «medio intersocial», en el que se comunicaban el lenguaje del trabajo mexicano y el socialismo francés, es también condición fundamental para entender la dimensión híbrida moderna de la nación mexicana hacia 1850.Cet article revient sur les hypothèses sur le mondedu travail au Mexique au milieu du XIXe siècle et son rapport au langage politique de la nation, notamment le langage libéral. L’hypothèse de l’ «impossible réception» du socialisme dans le monde du travail mexicain au XIXe siècle sert de point de départ pour l’élaboration d’un entrecroisement de l’historiographie du monde du travail mexicain avec l’histoire conceptuelle des dernières décennies. En revenant sur la proposition du «glissement de la citoyenneté», on tente d’approfondir la ligne historique tracée par les concepts de nation qui interposent la vision hégémonique reposant sur le langage de la nationalité étatique du milieu du XIXe siècle. En effet, dans la formation d’un «langage du travail» mexicain se sont produits d’autres glissements du langage de la nation qui font de cette formation un processus hétérogène.
