La historia en gerundio Mito e historia en el pensamiento español y latinoamericano

Analiza desde la perspectiva histórica, y con apoyo de la sociolingüística, el legado mítico español y la respuesta que dieron los criollos durante el proceso de independencia (primeros 20 años del siglo XVIII). Para ello se escogieron los escritos de Antonio León, clérigo español, y JuanFernández de Sotomayor, sacerdote y obispo colombiano, para al compararlos extraer las principales categorías de análisis, historiográficas, a favor o en contra de la independencia. Se presentan los antecedentes conceptuales (referentes) de ambos discursos, destacando la fusión que hace Fernández de Sotomayor de las ideas de la ilustración y de la escolástica humanista española. Palabras clave:  Discurso, Independencia americana, Mitos, Religión, Historiografía, Clonia española, Conquista española.  AbstractIt analyses from the historical perspective and with the support of the social linguistics, the Spaniard mythic legacy and the answer given by the creoles during the independence process (the beginning of the XVIII century). For that purpose were chosen the writings ofAntonio León, a Spanish cleric, and Juan Fernández de Sotomayor, Colombian priest and bishop, in order to compare them and extract the main analysis and historiography categories, in favor or against the independence.
