description This paper analyzes the play De tal siembra tal cosecha (1889) by Ángeles López de Ayala, one of the most active and important freethinkers, republicans, and freemasons in Spain between the 19th and 20th centuries, and one of the most committed feminists of the time, both in theory and in practice. We study the elements that make the protagonist of the work a strong supporter of a different idea of feminine roles, yet without refusing to be mother and wife; she advocates an active role of women in their own emancipation from the family sphere and proposes a collaboration with men inside the couple relationship —accordingly with the thinking of the author and the articles published throughout her life.

Además, se estudian los elementos que hacen de la protagonista de la obra una firme defensora de una idea distinta de los roles femeninos y masculinos, pero sin renunciar a ser madre y esposa. Desde el ámbito familiar, Rosa aboga por un papel activo de la mujer en la propia emancipación y postula una colaboración con el hombre en la relación de pareja, en consonancia con el pensamiento de la autora y los artículos que esta ha publicado en ese periodo.Este artigo analisará a peça teatral De tal siembra tal cosecha (1889) de Ángeles López de Ayala, uma das mais ativas e importantes pensadoras livres, republicanas e maçons em Espanha entre os séculos XIX e XX, e uma das feministas mais comprometidas da época, tanto no campo teórico como prático. Estudaremos os elementos que fazem da protagonista da obra uma firme defensora de uma ideia diferente dos papéis e femininos e masculinos, mas sem renunciar a ser mãe e esposa.
