Therefore, with the econometric exercise of panel data was possible to deduce that the impact on manufacturing output was higher after opening compared to previous years, and this led to the conclusion that given the existing conditions of deindustrialization, the opening contributed to deepen this decline, demonstrating a lower production in the subsectorsthat generate high added value.En este artículo se analiza el efecto de la apertura comercial sobre la producción manufacturera, y se detecta que este proceso causó un cambio estructural en las exportaciones e importaciones industriales, y creó una diferenciación en el comportamiento de estas, después de la década de los noventa.
