description This study analysed the main changes in land cover and land use that occurred in the area of influence of the Páramo de Paja Blanca Regional Natural Park in the period 2005-2020, which includes a work area of 17,328.4 hectares. , distributed in seven municipalities in the south of Nariño (Colombia): Pupiales, Iles, Gualmatán, Guachucal, Contadero, Ospina and Sapuyes, which are located in the physiographic zone known as Nudo de los Pastos and its area is part of the ecosystems called altoandinos. The coverage classification parameters set out in the Corine Land Cover methodology adapted for Colombia were followed, within the established period (2005-2020), and the legend of agricultural land uses of the Rural Agricultural Planning Unit (UPRA). In the results, a total of 16 coverages were obtained for the year 2020 and 13 units for the year 2005. Regarding land use for this period, there were a total of six uses (residential-commercial, livestock, agricultural, agricultural, forestry and agroforestry). Based on the above, 15 types of change were identified, both for coverage and land use, which allowed establishing nine causes with the factors that caused these changes.

Based on the above, 15 types of change were identified, both for coverage and land use, which allowed establishing nine causes with the factors that caused these changes.En este estudio se analizaron los principales cambios en la cobertura y uso de suelo que se presentaron en el área de influencia de Parque Natural Regional Páramo de Paja Blanca en el período 2005-2020, el cual comprende un área de trabajo de 17.328,4 hectáreas, distribuidas en siete municipios del sur de Nariño (Colombia): Pupiales, Iles, Gualmatán, Guachucal, Contadero, Ospina y Sapuyes, los cuales se ubican en la zona fisiográfica conocida como Nudo de los Pastos y su área forma parte de los ecosistemas denominados altoandinos.Se siguieron los parámetros de clasificación de coberturas expuestos en la metodología Corine Land Cover adaptada para Colombia, dentro del periodo establecido (2005-2020), y la leyenda de usos agropecuarios del suelo de la Unidad de Planificación Rural Agropecuaria (UPRA). En los resultados, se obtuvieron un total de 16 coberturas para el año 2020 y 13 unidades para el año 2005. En relación con el uso del suelo para este período, hubo un total de seis usos (residencial-comercial, pecuario, agrícola, agropecuario, forestal y agroforestal). Partiendo de lo anterior, se identificaron 15 tipos de cambio, tanto para cobertura como de uso del suelo, que permitieron establecer nueve causas con los factores que provocaron dichos cambios.Neste estúdio se analisou as principais mudanças na cobertura e uso da terra que ocorreram na área de influência do Parque Natural Regional Páramo de Paja Blanca no período 2005-2020, com uma área de trabalho de 17.328,4 hectares, distribuído em sete municípios do sul de Nariño (Colômbia); Pupiales, Iles, Gualmatán, Guachucal, Contadero, Ospina y Sapuyes, os quais estão localizados na zona fisiográfica conhecida como Nudo de los Pastos e sua área faz parte dos chamados ecossistemas altoandinos. Tendo em conta isto seguem-se os parâmetros da classificação das coberturas expostas na metodologia de Corine Land Cover adaptada para Colômbia, dentro dos anos estabelecidos (2005-2020) e a lenda de Usos Agropecuarios del Suelo para determinar o uso da terra. Dentro dos resultados, foi possível obter um total de 16 coberturas para o ano 2020 e 13 para unidades para o ano 2005, tendo em conta o último nível da metodologia CLC; distribuídas em quatro dos cinco tipos. Em relação com uso da terra para este período, houve um total de seis usos (residencial-comercial, pecuário, agrícola, agropecuário, florestal e agroflorestal).
