Este desarrollo se basa en una aplicación de la instrumentación virtual. Se divide en tres partes fundamentales: la adquisición de los datos en tiempo real de cada uno de los gases a controlar, en segundo lugar el diseño del sistema de monitoreo que consiste en una aplicación de software que permite el ajuste de los rangos permisibles de los gases y la generación de reportes de control, y por último, el sistema de control de la ventilación, para reducir los niveles críticos de gases que perjudican al personal de trabajo. Este trabajo de investigación en el área de aplicación tecnológica hace parte los proyectos realizados por el grupo de Investigación GENTE, de la Escuela de Ingeniería Electromecánica, UPTC – Duitama.Palabras Clave: Minas de carbón, Monitoreo y Control, Instrumentación virtual, Sensores.
