In this paper we propose to link Valente’s poetics with Spectral Music. We will review the foundations of José Ángel Valente’s maturity poetry with the purpose of comparing them with the theoretical approaches of Spectral Music.The fluctuating and permeable nature of the limit determines the foundations of Spectral Music as well as Valente’s poetics. We can establish that the notion of ‘reverberance’ constitutes the epistemological basis -even ontological- of those styles. The exploration of the own material nature is the way that both liminal aesthetics determine themselves as knowledge paths. The self-knowledge turns into aesthetic object.Tanto el concepto de límite como el de musicalidad poseen en la obra de José Ángel Valente un valor axial. Con el presente trabajo, se pretende vincular la poética de Valente con los presupuestos de la corriente espectralista. Con vistas a este propósito se revisarán los fundamentos de la poética de madurez del gallego y se contrastarán con las bases teóricas del espectralismo. La condición permeable y fluctuante del concepto de límite se impone en ambos objetos trabajados –música espectral y poesía de Valente–. Podría decirse que lo reverberante constituye el fundamento epistemológico e incluso ontológico de ambas propuestas estéticas. El modo en que tanto la poesía como la música estudiada se proponen como vías de conocimiento pasa por un curso de exploración de la propia materialidad. El conocimiento de sí posee la cualidad de objeto estético.Tanto o conceito de limite quanto o de musicalidade possuem na obra de José Ángel Valente um valor axial. Com o presente trabalho procura-se vincular a poética de Valente aos pressupostos da corrente espectralista. Para alcançar esse propósito serão revisados os fundamentos da poética da maturidade do galego e serão comparados com as bases teóricas do espectralismo. A condição permeável e flutuante do conceito de limite é imposta nos dois objetos trabalhados –música espectral e poesia de Valente–. Poderia se dizer que o reverberante constitui o fundamento epistemológico e inclusive ontológico das duas propostas estéticas. O modo no que tanto a poesia quanto a música estudada são propostas como vias do conhecimento que passam por um percurso de exploração da própria materialidade.
