Summary: | The companies, in particular, the SMEs are in need to acknowledge that competitiveness is the most important challenge to be resolved. The commercial opening that the country faced starting the final of 20th century provoked the discovery of the series of weaknesses and threats that our companies and, especially, the SMEs, currently should confront. The Colombian SMEs and, in particular, the SMEs Agroindustries of the Tundama province currently confront a number of difficulties that prevent them from being the competitive management units. It is evident that the SMEs Agroindustries of the Tundama province present high costs of transaction when entering the markets of products and services that results in the appearance of obstacles to improve the adoption of a technology that, in the near future, would permit the company to be competitive. |
