description This document belongs from the research “Socio-emotional skills associated with training and teaching experience”. The main objective corresponded to the study about link that the Early Childhood Education Degree program at UPTC has made with socio-emotional skills, and the way in which it has been done in his curricular project. With the application of the EINFEM Scale (Cejudo y otros, 2015), the performance, need and presence of socio-emotional skills perceived by a group of students was studied. Aspects such as: linking some of the socio-emotional skills within the curricular project were involved; the areas of the socio-emotional field in which the participants would like to have better training; and the need to integrate determining aspects, related to the emotional subject, in the training process. From the conclusions, it is possible to highlight that, ultimately, the incorporation of strategies to promote the development of socio-emotional skills in teachers in training, improve of learning for life and offers the future teacher valuable skills to face different situations at the personal and professional.

From the conclusions, it is possible to highlight that, ultimately, the incorporation of strategies to promote the development of socio-emotional skills in teachers in training, improve of learning for life and offers the future teacher valuable skills to face different situations at the personal and professional.Este artículo surge de la investigación Habilidades socioemocionales asociadas a la formación y la experiencia docente, cuyo objetivo fue conocer la opinión de estudiantes del programa Licenciatura en Educación Infantil de la Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia en relación a la importancia, necesidad y presencia de las habilidades socioemocionales en el proyecto curricular de su carrera.Usamos la Escala EINFEM para estudiar el desempeño, necesidad y presencia de habilidades socioemocionales percibidas por un grupo de estudiantes. En el análisis se involucraron aspectos como: la vinculación de habilidades socioemocionales en el proyecto curricular; las áreas del ámbito socioemocional en las cuales se podría contar con una mejor formación, según los participantes; y la necesidad de integrar aspectos determinantes, relacionados con las habilidades socioemocionales, en el programa profesional. Se destaca la necesidad de incorporar estrategias para desarrollar habilidades socioemocionales en los maestros en formación y suscitar el enriquecimiento de aprendizajes para la vida, con el fin de ofrecer al futuro maestro destrezas que le ayuden a afrontar las situaciones de la cotidianidad profesional y personal.Este artigo surge da pesquisa "Competências socioemocionais associadas à formação e experiência docente", cujo objetivo correspondia ao estudo da articulação que o curso de Licenciatura em Educação Infantil da UPTC tem feito com as competências socioemocionais, e a forma como que foi feito, revigorado em seu projeto curricular. Com a aplicação da Escala EINFEM (Cejudo et al., 2015), projetou-se o estudo do desempenho, necessidade e presença de habilidades socioemocionais percebidas por um grupo de alunos. A análise envolveu aspectos como: a articulação das competências socioemocionais no projeto curricular; as áreas do campo socioemocional em que os participantes gostariam de ter uma melhor formação; e a necessidade de integrar aspectos determinantes, relacionados ao tema, no programa profissional.
