description Reading from education is determined as a teaching and learning strategy, necessary for everyday life, since it develops in people critical thinking, from the classroom it provides in children spaces of socialization, strengthen your creativity and imagination and develop your ability to think clearly. For this reason, this classroom pedagogical project proposes to strengthen reading skills through the strategy of the reading tree in the students of the primary section of the “Military School Coronel Fray Jose Ignacio Mariño”. In addition, three pedagogical workshops were carried out as a strategy that made it easier to meet the proposed objectives, once the results were analysed. It can be concluded, the importance of the teacher as a facilitator of spaces that contribute to promoting reading as a habit and to training competent readers capable of organizing ideas and assuming a critical position.

Por tal razón en este proyecto pedagógico de aula se plantea fortalecer las competencias lectoras a través de la estrategia del árbol de la lectura en los estudiantes de la sección primaria del Colegio Militar Coronel Fray José Ignacio Mariño. Se puede concluir la importancia del docente como facilitador de espacios que contribuyan fomentar la lectura como un hábito y formar lectores competentes capaces de organizar ideas y asumir una postura crítica.A leitura desde a educação é determinada como estratégia de ensino e aprendizagem, necessária ao dia a dia, pois desenvolve o pensamento crítico nas pessoas, desde a sala de aula proporciona às crianças espaços de socialização, fortalecendo a sua criatividade e imaginação e desenvol- vendo a sua capacidade de pensar com clareza. Por isso, neste projeto pedagógico em sala de aula, propõese o fortalecimento da leitura por meio da estratégia da árvore da leitura em alunos do ensino fundamental da Escola Militar Coronel Fray José Ignacio Mariño. Por outro lado, como metodologia, foram realizadas três oficinas pedagógicas que facilitaram o cumprimento dos objetivos propostos, uma vez analisados os resultados.
