The article aims to carry out a comparative study of the educational development between Colombia and Ecuador. It aims to understand the actions that have been implemented in education and to identify the legal aspects that support the educational system. This comparative education study is based on a bibliographic analysis of laws, curricula and guidelines, which allows us to study two countries with similar profiles in the educational, social and economic fields but different actions in the field of educational practice. Among the findings of this study, the following are common aspects: in addition to the need for a unified curriculum, the existence of norms governing school entrepreneurship, and the compulsory nature of the levels of education. On the other hand, mismatches were found in the practical measures adopted to incorporate entrepreneurship education in educational institutions offering different levels of education. The progress of education among South American countries was recognized, with their main needs and prospects for investment in education, evaluation of the quality of education, policies related to ICTs and the need to emphasize the importance of teachers in society. |

Tiene como objetivo comprender las acciones que en materia de educación se han implementado e identificar los aspectos legales que respaldan el sistema educativo. Este estudio de educación comparada se basa en un análisis bibliográfico de leyes, currículos y lineamientos, lo que nos permite estudiar dos países con perfiles similares en los campos educativo, social y económico pero diferentes actuaciones en el campo de la práctica educativa. Entre los hallazgos de este estudio, son aspectos comunes: además de la necesidad de contar con un currículo unificado, la existencia de normas que rijan el emprendimiento escolar, la obligatoriedad de los niveles de educación. Por otro lado, se encontraron desajustes en las medidas prácticas adoptadas para incorporar la educación en emprendimiento en las instituciones educativas que ofrecen los diferentes niveles de educación. Se reconoció el avance de la educación entre los países de América del Sur, con sus principales necesidades y perspectivas de inversión en educación, evaluación de la calidad de la educación, políticas relacionadas con las TIC y la necesidad de enfatizar la importancia de los docentes en la sociedad.Este artigo visa a realizar um estudo comparativo do desenvolvimento educacional entre a Colômbia e o Equador. Visa compreender as ações que têm sido implementadas no campo da educação e identificar os aspectos legais que apóiam o sistema educacional. Este estudo comparativo de educação é baseado em uma análise bibliográfica de leis, currículos e diretrizes, o que nos permite estudar dois países com perfis semelhantes nos campos educacional, social e econômico, mas com ações diferentes no campo da prática educacional. Entre as conclusões deste estudo, estão os seguintes aspectos comuns: além da necessidade de um currículo unificado, a existência de regras que regem o empreendedorismo escolar, e o caráter obrigatório dos níveis de educação. Por outro lado, foram encontrados desajustes nas medidas práticas tomadas para incorporar a educação empresarial nas instituições educacionais que oferecem diferentes níveis de ensino.
