This article presents a mapping of the territorial dynamics of the extractive economies in a part of the Colombian Orinoquía considered the last agricultural frontier of the country. This mapping is an input for the analysis of the spatialization of extractivism that considers the recent transformations in the areas of peasant agriculture and the growth of agro-industrial crop areas, as well as the new extensions of monocultures and oil production. These elements were mapped and temporally compared, the demographic change was also analyzed and, in particular, the accelerated process of urbanization of the population in relation to the phenomenon studied. Later, there were elaborated coremas that synthesize the spatial and temporal dynamics of the extractivisms in the department. From the analysis, it is evident the multiscale dimension of extractivism and the complementarity between oil and agroindustrial expansion in the Orinoquía, in the department of Meta and other regions of the national scale as a result of the international demand of commodities. |

Estos elementos fueron mapeados y comparados temporalmente, también se analizó el cambio demográfico y, en particular, el acelerado proceso de urbanización de la población en relación con el fenómeno estudiado. Posteriormente, se elaboraron coremas que sintetizan la dinámica espacial y temporal de los extractivismos en el departamento. A partir del análisis se evidencia la dimensión multiescalar del extractivismo y la complementariedad entre la expansión petrolera y agroindustrial en la Orinoquia, en el departamento del Meta y en otras regiones de la escala nacional como resultado de la demanda internacional de commodities.Este artigo apresenta um mapeamento da dinâmica territorial das economias extrativistas em uma parte da Orinoquia colombiana considerada como a última fronteira agrícola do país. Esse mapeamento é um insumo para a análise da espacialização do extrativismo que considera as transformações recentes nas áreas da agricultura camponesa e o crescimento das áreas de lavouras agroindustriais, bem como as novas extensões das monoculturas e da produção de petróleo. Esses elementos foram mapeados e comparados temporalmente, analisou-se também a evolução demográfica e, em particular, o acelerado processo de urbanização da população em relação ao fenômeno estudado. Posteriormente, foram desenvolvidos coremas que sintetizam a dinâmica espacial e temporal dos extrativismos no Estado.
