Objetivo. Presentar de manera comprensiva los ámbitos, modelos y métodos de intervención del trabajo social en la lucha contra la trata de personas. Metodología. Se llevó a cabo una revisión de la literatura internacional publicada entre el año 2010 y 2020 utilizando la declaración PRISMA. Resultados. El banco de documentos se conformó con 25 artículos. En ellos predominaron las menciones de los métodos de comunidad y grupo, así como los modelos críticos. Se identificó la actuación del trabajo social en los ámbitos de protección y asistencia, prevención, investigación y educación. Conclusiones. La intervención del trabajo social en la lucha contra la trata de personas se enfoca en la prevención y el empoderamiento comunitario, especialmente de las mujeres. Se destaca la necesidad de incluir este tema en la formación profesional y de aumentar la producción de conocimiento en Latinoamérica. |

To comprehensively present the scopes, models, and methods of social work intervention in the fight against human trafficking. Methodology. An international literature review was conducted, covering publications from 2010 to 2020 using the PRISMA statement. Results. The document database consisted of 25 articles, with a predominance of mentions of community and group methods, as well as critical models. Social work interventions were identified in the areas of protection and assistance, prevention, research, and education. Conclusions. Social work intervention in the fight against human trafficking focuses on prevention and community empowerment, particularly for women.
