Durante esos meses de exploración, estuve completamente solo, fue para mí casi que un momento de desconexión. El estar conmigo todo el tiempo, con mi propio cuerpo, desencadenó muchas preguntas sobre lo estético, lo divino, la identidad, la construcción y destrucción de cuerpos en relación con objetos que también son cuerpo y espacio. De esta manera desarrollé este proyecto con la realización de un libro de artista cuyo objeto sea no solo la finalización de un producto reconocido como “obra de arte”, sino que funcione también como metodología. Utilizo la modalidad “libro de artista” como el soporte que contendrá una acción por mi parte regresiva, desde mis expresiones artísticas actuales, las que han tomado forma hasta convertirse en preguntas recurrentes y aquellas normalmente aisladas en mi infancia que parecen ser conclusiones de mi pensamiento actual atrapado en mi subconsciente. Este libro será una compilación de imágenes que he producido a lo largo de mi carrera, clasificadas y posteriormente reinterpretadas según lo que su producción me revele. La organización de mi recorrido artístico funciona como un preludio para confirmar las motivaciones estéticas que surgen de mi vida, con la intención de archivar, transformar, superponer, comparar y jugar con los diferentes tiempos que ofrece el salto de una página a otra, pretendo llevar a cabo un ejercicio sobre todo metodológico, una lectura que me cuente sobre memoria al tiempo que sea manifiesto de los hallazgos que aún no percibo.eng:This project is the result of an Artistic Residency that I did in El Retiro, Antioquia; where the body and its different imaginaries were the main images to explore. During those months of investigation, I was completely alone; for me, it was a moment of disconnection with my life. Being me, myself and I in the loneliness, with my own body, I began to wonder about the aesthetic, the divine, the identity, the construction and destruction of bodies in between the objects that are also body and space. In this way, I developed this project integrating an artist's book which is not only a product recognized as a "piece of art", it is also a methodology. I use the "artist's book" modality supporting a performance about myself in regressive, from my current artistic expressions, those that have achieved to become a recurrent question and those that are isolated in my childhood that seem to be conclusions of my thoughts currently enclosed in my subconscious. This book will be a compilation of images that I produced throughout my career, classified and later reinterpreted according to the process that has been shown to me. The organization of my artistic journey works as a prelude to confirm the aesthetic motivations that arise from my life, with the intention of filing, transforming, superimposing, comparing and playing with the different times offered page by page.
