La protesta social Agraria en Colombia 1990-2005: génesis del movimiento Agrario

En Colombia, como en la mayoría de países de Latinoamérica, el sector rural se ha visto enfrentado a políticas de orden económico que han modificado las relaciones sociales entre los diferentes actores que lo componen. Estas políticas configuran tres modelos de desarrollo: modernización conservadora (1850- 1930), sustitución de importaciones (1940- 1960) y apertura económica (1970 en adelante), que han favorecido a los grandes productores y propietarios de tierras en detrimento de la población campesina. En ellos, han surgido diversasformas de protesta a las que se han articulado trabajadores rurales de origen campesino, con o sin tierra, indígenas, afrodescendientes y otros movimientos y sectores afines. En este trabajo, se identifican los actores sociales de la protesta, se describen sus repertorios de acción y se evidencian las transformaciones que han sufrido en el periodo 1990- 2005; pues en éste, el sector rural, los sujetos sociales que lo componen y sus modos de vida han sido los más vulnerables.ABSTRACTIn Colombia, as in the majority of Latin American countries, the rural sector has been confronted with economic policies that have modified the social relations between the different actors that compose it, in three historical periods: conservative modernization (1850 - 1930), import substitutions (1940 - 1960) and the economic aperture (since 1970) that have favored the big producers and land owners, in the rural population's detriment. The excluded and marginal groups constitute the social subjects of the current agrarian movement, to which rural workers with or without land, indigenous groups, afro—descendents, other movements and similar sectors have adjoined. In this text, the social subjects who make up the agrarian movement in Colombia are analyzed, and their protest repertoires are described. It also scrutinizes the transformation that these fights have undergone between 1990 y 2005, since the rural sector and the social actors who make it up, as well as their ways of live, have been the most vulnerable.
