However, this paper demonstrates how this view is incompatible with all noneliminativist theories of mind, leading it to be inconsistent, incompatible with science, and eliminating consciousness, intentionality, mental causation and ethics. An alternative realist thesis is proposed which preserves the idea that generally the world is the way it is independent of what we think of it, compatible with mind as a real part of the world. This reform restores the possibility of consistency, mind, consciousness, intentionality, science and ethics.Universidad de Caldas2023-01-01T00:00:00Z2025-10-08T21:22:10Z2023-01-01T00:00:00Z2025-10-08T21:22:10Z2022-01-01Artículo de revistahttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501Textinfo:eu-repo/semantics/articleJournal articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionhttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_2df8fbb1application/pdf0124-6127https://repositorio.ucaldas.edu.co/handle/ucaldas/2394910.17151/difil.2023.24.42.52462-9596https://doi.org/10.17151/difil.2023.24.42.5https://revistasojs.ucaldas.edu.co/index.php/discusionesfilosoficas/article/view/8520spa95427524Discusiones FilosóficasAmer, Karim & Jehane Noujaim.
