La ejecución de esta se llevó a cabo con el desarrollo de seis etapas las cuales correspondientes a revisión bibliográfica, planeamiento precampo, trabajo de campo, procesamiento de la información recolectada, integración de toda la información geológica disponible y finalmente la redacción del informe final. Con el levantamiento cartográfico se determinó que la unidad litológica predominante en el contrato de concesión corresponde a un esquisto negro grafitoso enmarcado dentro de lo que se ha catalogado según diversos autores como las rocas metamórficas del complejo Cajamarca, esta unidad es intruída por algunos diques afaníticos que afloran en el sector, así como por diversas vetas polimetálicas las cuales son el objeto de explotación de la empresa. Durante el desarrollo de la cartografía, se identificaron diversas fallas y vetas en superficie, estas se complementaron con información recolectada durante la ejecución de labores de apoyo en la explotación del yacimiento realizadas como complemento a la práctica académica, además de información existente en la base de datos del departamento de geología de la empresa, ya que dentro de la tunelería se evidencia el desplazamiento de las vetas por cuenta de las diferentes fallas identificadas en superficie. A partir de esto se determinó que las estructuras mineralizadas encontradas dentro del título son concordantes con el rumbo y buzamiento de las estructuras mayores explotadas por la empresa, se definieron además 3 tendencias estructurales de fallamiento dentro del título: Un conjunto de fallas con tendencia NE/SW de cinemática sinestral inversa, otro conjunto de fallas NW/SE con cinemática sinestral normal y unas fallas E-W con cinemática dextral normal. El trazado de estas fallas se realizó integrando la información recolectada de dichas fallas en superficie, combinada con la información disponible de la tunelería y haciendo uso de geomorfología teniendo como soporte los distintos modelos de elevación digital que posee la empresa. Se cartografiaron también las bocaminas abandonadas existentes dentro del título en las cuales se realizó muestreo de las estructuras presentes. Dichas bocaminas jugaron un papel fundamental para la identificación de vetas y la correlación entre estas a lo largo de la zona de trabajo.The geological mapping of the concession contract GI2-101, titled to the Gran Porvenir del Líbano S.A. Mine, was the result of a systematic work carried out by the geology area of the company for exploratory purposes and also seeking to refine the detail of the geological mapping of the project for updating the "Plan de Trabajos y Obras (PTO)" of the concession contract. The execution of this work was carried out in six stages: bibliographic review, pre-field planning, field work, processing of the collected information, integration of all the available geological information and finally the writing of the final report. With the cartographic survey it was determined that the predominant lithological unit in the concession contract corresponds to a black graphitic schist framed within what has been catalogued according to several authors as the metamorphic rocks of the Cajamarca complex, this unit is intruded by some aphanitic dykes that outcrop in the sector, as well as by several polymetallic veins which are the object of exploitation for the company. During the development of the mapping, several faults and veins were identified on surface, these were complemented with information collected during the execution of support work in the exploitation of the deposit carried out as a complement to the academic practice, in addition to existing information in the database of the geology department of the company, due to the fact that inside the tunneling there is evidence of the displacement of the veins due to the different faults identified on surface. From this it was determined that the mineralized structures found within the title are consistent with the strike and dip of the major structures exploited by the company, 3 structural trends of faulting were also defined within the title: A set of faults with NE/SW trend with inverse sinistral kinematics, another set of NW/SE faults with normal sinistral kinematics and some E-W faults with normal dextral kinematics. The mapping of these faults was done by integrating the information collected from these faults on the surface, combined with the available information from the tunneling and using geomorphology with the support of the different digital elevation models that the company has. We also mapped the existing abandoned mine shafts within the title, where we sampled the structures present.
