Against the interpretations that characterize it as deontological, consequentialist, or more recent interpretations that consider it as a form of ethics of care, I will argue in favor of interpreting the Buddhist ethics as closer to the virtue ethics. My main argument in favor of this proposal is that both, Buddhist ethics and Virtue ethics, have to do fundamentally with the notion of self-cultivation or self-care.Universidad de Caldas2018-07-01 00:00:002021-03-07T10:22:45Z2018-07-01 00:00:002021-03-07T10:22:45Z2018-07-01Artículo de revistaSección ArtículosJournal Articlehttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501Textinfo:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionhttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_2df8fbb1application/pdf1900-9895https://revistasojs.ucaldas.edu.co/index.php/latinoamericana/article/view/3975https://repositorio.ucaldas.edu.co/handle/ucaldas/163942500-5324https://revistasojs.ucaldas.edu.co/index.php/latinoamericana/article/view/3975spa5523814Latinoamericana de Estudios EducativosAdam, M.
