As dificuldades de inserção no mercado de trabalho e suas repercussões na vida dos jovens: apontamentos a partir de uma experiência em comunidade periférica de Ponta Grossa-PR

AbstractThis article is intended to reflect about insertion in the labor market difficulties as experienced by young people from peripheral communities, and how this affects their lives. The discussion section of the research was conducted in Ouro Verde, peripheral community of Ponta Grossa-PR, Brazil. Participants are young people residing in this community and participating in activities of the “Programa Atitude.” The survey data showed how young people still put work as a central category in their lives and how the fact they can’t enter this everyday more demanding working world, makes them feel helpless, without expectations for the future. This shows how much work is still central in the society that we live in.
