The criteria for selecting the examples is that of analytical interest; that is to say, corridors were chosen that could pose interesting problems when applying the theory and that stood out for their rhythmic characteristics.El presente artículo es un recorrido por la Teoría Generativa de la Música Tonal (GTTM, por sus iniciales en inglés) en lo correspondiente a la estructura rítmica de la música con ejemplos de pasillos colombianos exclusivamente. Cada concepto de la teoría generativa se aplica al análisis de fragmentos de pasillos en un modelo detallado y explicativo.
