Summary: | This article is a journey through the Generative Theory of Tonal Music (GTTM, for its initials in English) in relation to the rhythmic structure of music with examples of Colombian corridors exclusively. Each concept of generative theory is applied to the analysis of corridor fragments in a detailed and explanatory model. The criteria for selecting the examples is that of analytical interest; that is to say, corridors were chosen that could pose interesting problems when applying the theory and that stood out for their rhythmic characteristics. |
