Es por este motivo que el trabajo que desarrollamos en EL COMITÉ REGIONAL DE REHABILITACIÓN DE ANTIOQUIA EN EL TALLER DE APARATOS ORTOPÉDICOS (TAO), en el mejoramiento de su planta de producción es una muestra fehaciente de que esto se lleva a cabo con el mejor de los ánimos y la máxima disposición por parte de los alumnos de la universidad y esperamos que de todas a nivel nacional. El proyecto se dividió en varias etapas entre las cuales encontramos la recolección de información y el análisis de ésta, evaluación de posibles soluciones y por ultimo la presentación de las mas adecuadas, las cuales se espera que sean implantadas por las diferentes secciones del TAO. Se obtuvieron resultados teóricos y prácticos, como es el caso de la alternativa presentada para la fabricación de los moldes utilizados en el proceso productivo. Entre las diferentes recomendaciones que se le hace al TAO, cabe destacar, la importancia que tiene el manejo del tiempo de los empleados en el área productiva; instrucciones claras para los puestos de trabajo con el fin de evitar los accidentes laborales; control adecuado de los inventarios para disminuir el stock y el uso de diferentes materiales en los moldes con el propósito de aumentar su vida útil. Así mismo, se llego a la conclusión que no se recomienda un cambio en la distribución de planta a causa de los diferentes flujos de proceso, la diversidad de referencias manejadas y el reducido tamaño de las instalaciones.ABSTRACT Throughout our life we were appeared by many opportunities to work for other people, but not in the way that is realized in this methodology used for this work of degree, the social work, which develops as a free form of collaboration of those persons that might be said already they have a complete vocational training. It is for this motive that the work that we developed in EL COMITE REGIONAL DE REHABILITACION DE ANTIOQUIA EN EL TALLER DE APARATOS ORTOPÉDICOS (TAO), in the improvement of its plant of production, is an authentic sample of which this removes to end with the best of the spirits and the maximum disposition on the part of the pupils of the university and wait that of different all those to national level. The project was divided in several stages among which we find the compilation of information, the analysis of this one, evaluation of possible solutions and finally the presentation of the more suitable, of which is expected to be implemented by the different sections of the TAO. Theoretical and practical results were obtained as it was said previously in the gathered information, and in different trials that they were realized, such is the case of the alternative presented for the manufacture of the molds used in the productive process. Within the different recommendations made to the TAO, it is important to emphasize on the importance that has the time management of the personnel in the productive area; clear instructions for the working places in order to avoid the labour accidents; proper control of the inventories to diminish the stock and the use of different materials in molds with the intention of increasing its useful life.
