Summary: | The intensification of productive activities in the livestock sector is a condition that increases the importance of knowing the environmental aspects related to animal production and slaughter centers, since the use of inputs and the generation of waste have the potential to generate impacts. positives and / or negatives in the environment. In this research, the generating sources of chicken manure, porquinaza and bovine manure in the department of Atlántico were environmentally analyzed. For this to be achieved, a database was generated from the information included in the archives of the Atlantic Regional Autonomous Corporation on poultry farms, pig farms and abattoirs. A total of 93 establishments were identified: 54 poultry farms, 33 pig farms and 6 animal benefit plants. It was found an annual generation potential of 112,312,565 Kg of chicken manure, 21,298,663 Kg of porquinaza and 3,370,644 Kg of cattle. Additionally, it was determined that these establishments have the potential to impact the environment on its atmospheric, hydrogeological, hydrological, soil, spatial and socio-economic components. It should be mentioned that there are some information gaps that affect the accuracy of the analysis results. |
