Summary: | The present research work investigation to Design a methodological proposal based on research in the classroom mediated by ICTs for the improvement of educational quality in basic and secondary education in the district of Barranquilla. It arises from the interest that Educational Institutions of all levels have in developing the scientific and creative thinking of students starting from the classrooms, in the same way because of the contributions that research makes to the teaching and learning process and educational quality. Said research will be approached starting from a deductive method with a mixed paradigm, a non experimental transactional design, with a descriptive-explanatory-propositional type of research. The sample consisted of 34 teachers and 29 students from the elementary and middle levels of the Los Rosales district school in the Barranquilla district, to whom a questionnaire was applied that was validated by three (3) experts. A focus group was also applied to the teachers; and, finally, a documentary review was carried out in order to identify methodologies related to the incorporation of research in the classroom. The results obtained show that the use of ICT mediations constitute tools that contribute to the development of investigative competences of students. It is concluded that, by incorporating research in the classroom as pedagogical strategies mediated by ICT, it contributes to developing scientific thinking, promoting student learning, which will result in the improvement of the educational quality of schools at different levels. |
