Summary: | Environmental Culture is a very important factor to achieve sustainability in terms of the mannature relationship, so that there can be a balance between both components. The objective of this research was to propose Strategies that promote Environmental Culture aimed at solving the environmental problems determined in the fishing communities of the municipality of Tubará, Atlántico. For this, the application of a semi-structured survey and the direct observation of three chosen beaches were used as a method of information collection, where it was determined that they had common problems such as the accumulation and poor disposal of solid waste due to lack of adequate spaces, low knowledge in environmental matters and abandonment by government entitie. For the realization of the strategies we are based on previous studies of Environmental Education programs, which sought to sensitize the participants of the importance of caring for the environment. Our strategies are divided into activities that include training, theoretical-practical and evaluative activities. They were evaluated by a group of experts who, thanks to their knowledge and experience, have the power to make judgments and determine their viability. According to the comparative analyzes with the projects and researches reviewed and the evaluation of the experts, the proposed strategies would potentially contribute to the improvement of the environmental problems of the communities and are a component of awareness to achieve awareness and environmental responsibility. |
