Summary:The incorporation of the new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) has given the possibility of improving the processes in education. The objective of the research is to analyze the incidence of the use of ICT in the development of autonomous learning in students of 9th, 10th and 11th of the Educational Institution Flowers Hill Bilingual School, to generate proposals for the benefit of academic performance around their knowledge , with the different variants that have transformed society with the implementation of ICT, which favor a constructive and participatory learning of this educational society. The research is carried out within a descriptive investigation, which allows recording the collected information to then describe, analyze and interpret systematically the characteristics of the studied phenomenon based on the reality of the proposed scenario. The results showed that initially teachers are interested in participating in a dynamic way in this new teaching-learning process, they have shown their commitment to the insertion of technological devices and space to creativity, to innovation. . The didactic mediation strategies used as conceptual maps, designed with the Mindomo tool, the WebQuest, the participation in forums, the realization of virtual laboratories and the collaborative work, were oriented to the autonomous learning process, strengthened the significant learning in the students, who became aware of their learning and applied it in the context in which they develop.
