The findings suggest the need for comprehensive educational reforms, including creating supportive learning environments, aligning the curriculum with student aspirations, and prioritizing oral communication skills over traditional grammar-focused approaches. By understanding and addressing these demotivating factors, educators can create a more engaging and motivating language learning experience, facilitating learners’ progress toward proficiency in English as a second language.
