| Summary: | This project is initially developed with the study of the current state of the water and the water treatment plant, then an alternative for improvement is proposed that consists of three parts for the problem that is currently presented in the company. First of all there is the implementation of a grease trap at the beginning of the water treatment process; secondly, there is the use of a new ferric chloride coagulant for the coagulation and flocculation process; and finally, the use of a mixed electrolytic grade resin for membrane filters located at the end of the treatment plant. The selection of improvement in order to reduce the contaminants exposed in the water that do not comply with resolution 631 of 2015. The technical specifications of the selected improvement alternatives and their respective costs were analyzed. |
