Propuesta de negocio para la creación de una empresa productora de aceite de palma en Colombia.

In the present Project, the creation of a company dedicated to palm oil in an integrated manner is proposed and analyzed, beginning with its cultivation and harvest, continuing with the processing of palm fruits for the generation of oil and the commercialization of palm oil for two types of clients: companies that use palm oil in their production processes and consumers that use it for domestic use. The idea originated from the opportunity identified with the growth of the sector since this oil is being used increasingly within the country and also internationally. Additionally, it is considered an interesting business idea because this is one of the types of oil that offers the highest yield with respect to its raw materials. Another advantage of this oil is that it is very versatile and can be used in various industries as an intermediate product, and also as a food oil. It is sought that the final product of the company be palm oil and it is also sought that this company be integrated vertically. The design of the company and its operation was based on the analysis of existing academic literature and also on the analysis of statistics and information provided by palm sector entities.
