Optimización del diseño de las bombas asociadas a sistemas de levantamiento artificial ESP para disminución de diferidas de producción en un campo de la cuenca de los Llanos Orientales

When the production of an oil field begins, the problems that may arise during its productive life must be taken into account, which can translate into long-term production deferrals. Due to the few contingency plans applied for deferral mitigation, it directly affects the correct management of the wells. According to the above, the objective of this project is the direct study of a sample of wells (40) previously evaluated, selecting 12 representative wells equivalent to 30% of the corresponding sample, which according to current conditions have high deferral rates or are close to this. A redesign of the subsoil equipment is proposed by means of 2 scenarios (A and B) evaluated through the Pump Checker ® simulator, comparing them with the current data of the design present to date in the selected wells. Showing not only a decrease in the deferrals presented in the field, but generating an energy saving of 21.06% for scenario A and 12.3% for scenario B. Obtaining in the same way an evident optimization in the production of 12.7% in the selected wells of the field of the Llanos Orientales.
