| Summary: | In the present degree work, the design of a chemical wastewater treatment system for the elimination of excess nitrates from the water source of the Subachoque river is developed as a proposal, thus being this source that is contaminated by anthropogenic influence throughout of all its course. One of the pollutants that generates the greatest impact due to its effects on the environment and human health is nitrate, a pollutant that is sought to be reduced for this water source, in such a way that a degree of use is obtained from it in order to supply a water need in a given geographical area. Through a bibliographic review, the implementation of the technology to be used is proposed. To this end, this study reviews some of the latest advances and management of technology in the removal of nitrates by chemical methods, in such a way that the most appropriate process is proposed. through economic, technical and design perspectives for the relative application of the method, analyzing the costs of investment, operation and the proposed alternative. |
