Description
Summary:The department of Guaviare is located between the Orinoquia and Amazon regions, bordering the Guayabero and Guaviare rivers, which are separated by the departments of Meta and Vichada. On the east it borders with Guainía and Vaupés, on the south side are the departments of Caquetá and Vaupés and on the west with the departments of Caquetá and Meta, with a territorial extension of 53,460 km2. Under this departmental structure, it is framed in a territorial improvement plan developed in a Master Plan that seeks to integrate the territory through the transition paths focused on the restitution of the territories most affected by the armed conflict, in this way achieving the consolidation of the department through the village connection that would integrate the municipalities and allow a greater social coercion within the territory.
