Description
Summary:The objective of this work is to create a matrix called ECOstream, based on Colombian environmental regulations, with the aim of minimizing environmental impacts in a greater percentage than at present, and through it, reducing the social conflicts generated by the hydrocarbon sector. In first place, the work contains a historical compilation of the Antares Exploration Field and its geology, as well as extensive information on environmental licensing in Colombia over the years and currently. The requirements contemplated in the laws, decrees and resolutions that cover the area of interest are identified, and then presented in the ECOstream matrix that proceeds to develop compliance with the established items of each phase of environmental studies and evaluations necessary to proceed to the application for an environmental license, taking account that it also includes the Territorial Strategy of Hydrocarbons created by the ANH to combat social conflicts in the country. Finally, the proposal of the economic benefits that ECOstream would generate in the oil industry is presented, not only implicit in the UPstream area, but, as an additional area of operation of the hydrocarbon sector.
