| Summary: | The research group “Urban and Territorial Prospective” has been working on the research line “city competitiveness” since 2009. Some theoretical implications of such research focus are analyzed on this paper, starting from the introduction of the physical planning perspectives into the current competitiveness studies. The aim is to show how basic and applied knowledge about territorial dynamics can be generated from that research line. The result of this academic reflection is the generation of future academic collaboration interested on rising questions from both urban planning and economic competitiveness. |
