Unidad de investigación y capacitación de energías renovables en la región Caribe: territorios ecoeficientes

In the sector of Pozos Colorados in the city of Santa Marta, an urban development with logistical and educational emphasis is generated, linking and connecting the Rodadero sector with the Simón Bolívar International Airport, in order to solve one of the urban gaps that Has the city due to the topography that it has. The partial plan aims to establish the impact of the economic, social and cultural activities that are given on the natural resources of the territory, to generate an integral proposal that contemplates the different mixtures of activities of vocation that can be given in the city. Three important activities are generated within the partial plan, among which is the educational one, creating a research and training unit for renewable energies, which is projected to be one of the few centers dedicated to the exploration of alternative energies in the Caribbean region and in the country.
