Evaluación de la producción de la Taq polimerasa en un biorreactor de 1 L en la Corporación Corpogen

CorpoGen is a private, non-profit research center that has been working since 1995 in scientific research and technological development in Colombia. They have a varied offer that includes research in the microbiology area, sale of some products for the molecular biology area, services in cutting-edge technologies and training such as internships, workshops, seminars and training in molecular techniques. One of its main products is the Taq polymerase enzyme, this enzyme is produced with recombinant DNA technology, it is an enzyme identified in the bacterium Thermus aquaticus and of great biotechnological importance due to its thermophilic characteristics, and Escherichia coli is used as a host for production. of Taq polymerase for its easy growth conditions in the laboratory and for being a widely used microorganism in this type of technology.
