Summary:With the present work of degree was carried out the evaluation of the localized injection of steam with the technique huff and puff for a sector of the Teca-Cocorná Field located in the Middle Magdalena Valley by means of numerical simulation, which has a low production that is due to the depletion of reservoir pressure and the invasion of areas due to high water saturation. The project was carried out by selecting a sector of the field of study, which was subjected to numerical simulation with the CMG-STARS software, with the purpose of generating different cases of steam injection where sensitivity was made in the order that they are going to be injected . Subsequently, based on the results obtained by the simulator, the best production scenario was selected using localized injection of steam using the Huff and Puff technique.
