| Summary: | This article presents a discussion on the need to link the issue of improving the quality of urban living in marginal areas of the city, as a relevant and necessary issue within the professional training of architecture in the Latin American context. From the logic of Sustainable Urban Development as an approach that guides the improvement of living conditions, three cases where this issue is addressed are reviewed. Here, research and social projection in the architecture schools, are creating opportunities for synergistic links between society and university. |
