Summary: | This article presents a pragmatic and conceptual LCA (Life Cycle Analysis) as a strategy for evaluating and monitoring the environmental footprint of buildings in the market for supplies and materials. Under a historical overview, inserted in the Colombian context, which is now dramatically influenced by technological advances and penetration of new materials, expanding the portfolio of supplies in buildings. Similarly, addressing the major issues in Colombia potentiate its implementation (LCA) in the growing construction and its potential benefits. Later described their background in the world of operational processes, structure, methodology and analysis processes. |
