Summary: | The purpose of the present work is to design the conceptual design of a wastewater treatment plant for the Municipality of Bituima Cundinamarca. The design was carried out following the construction parameters established in the technical regulation of drinking water and basic sanitation (RAS 2000). Initially the diagnosis of wastewater is performed, comparing with Resolution 631 of 2015 and Resolution 3461 of 2009 that establishes the quality objectives of the basin to be achieved in 2020. The main parameters analyzed were the flow, temperature, PH, BOD, COD, oil and grease measurement, suspended solids, sedimentable solids, nitrates, nitrites, ammoniacal nitrogen, coliforms and total phosphorus. According to what was analyzed in the diagnosis, the need to implement a biological system is established, so a selection matrix is made with the possible options, evaluating aspects such as the applicability of the process, costs, design and construction, operation and environment. Selecting in this way the treatment of activated sludge, by means of bibliographical supports, the treatments were determined throughout the entire PTAR. |
