Summary:This project proposes to design a machine for banknote disinfection using the ultraviolet radiation method, for this it is divided into five chapters; The first chapter makes a study of the main disinfection methods and specifies how they can be applied to the disinfection of paper money, in addition, generalities of the banknotes that are necessary for the design of the disinfection machine are specified. For the second chapter, the conceptual design is carried out, where the design problem to be solved is identified, in this part it is intended to know the client's requirements and a benchmarking study is carried out with the aim of designing a product that responds to the needs of the client. In the market, in this part the deployment of the quality function (QFD) is also carried out, in this way, metrics are defined through the client's needs and thus provide conceptual design options that will allow responding to the client's metrics and needs.
