Description
Summary:In the present investigation the process of obtaining an adhesive support made from cassava starch was evaluated, for a dressing on a laboratory scale, following the guidelines of development of the pretreatment of the raw material, achieving the appropriate selection of the process, the selection of the conditions of the process for the production of the adhesive, according to the properties of the starch, the evaluation of the results obtained allowed the production of the adhesive made from cassava starch against commercial adhesives and finally the cost analysis of the production process of the adhesive support Data collection was done through dry pretreatment of the raw material (Manihot Esculenta Crantz cassava), giving way to the characterization and evaluations of some physicochemical and organoleptic properties; such as density, viscosity, pH, percentage of moisture and ashes, as well as the smell, color and touch, respectively, that the product presents.
