Summary:The Fundación Universidad de América in its Program of Industrial Engineering has allowed its students as a degree requirement, developing feasibility projects for the creation of companies. From 2004 to 2014 there were a total of 265 proposals made, which have not been followed-up in any way. This article aims to measure the level of entrepreneurship in the Industrial Engineering Program, through the virtual self-assessment tool HEInnovate. Also, as an added value, the creation of a Center for Entrepreneurship is suggested and the inclusion of a chair that promotes said spirit in the students
