Summary:Optimize execution times in the operations of a well in Campo Quifa for the operator Frontera Energy, it is one of the main objectives that have been developed since 2012.This is why this project was carried out in order to get closer to the technical limit in each of the drilling and completion operations, thus taking a sample of 14 wells and setting 28 determining KPIs in order to identify their limitations and technical limits, this by conducting a technical-statistical study with the help of office tools such as Microsoft Excel, OpenWells and SPSS. The fundamental basis of the project revolved around the optimization plan where three possible best-in-class scenarios were proposed, average time and maximum time (which were considered as input data for the Smart digital Drilling project carried out by Frontera). Following the optimization plan, it was simulated, using the drill well on paper methodology and implementing it in the Project Libre software. With the results obtained, a technical and financial comparison was made, determining potential savings such as a decrease of 1.04 days in the execution of a well, which represents a saving of USD $ 31,800.
