Summary: | In the development of the degree project titled, Design of the system of guides and cutting of the machine of electrowelded mesh in Almasa S.A. headquarters Bogota, begins with the collection of information, both on the part of the company in terms of operation, process and operation of the electro-welded mesh machine, as theoretical information, such as, for example, machine manufacturing companies worldwide, processes that handle the machine generally, cutting systems. Then, the determination of the critical points in the machine was carried out, to this way, determine the causes of them; finally, they determined the parameters of design, functionality and operation of the electro-welded mesh machine. Subsequently, alternatives were determined for the solution to the faults found in the critical points mentioned above, for which three were developed for each system, where, from the QFD method, the "what’s" were calculated determinants for each system and were evaluated numerically each with respect to the relevance that had, in the same way were determined the "how", which are a type of response to the "what" posed, where in the same way are determined numerically, to finally through the main matrix of QFD determine the best option for the system either for guides or cutting. Consecutively, the detailed design of the selected alternative was carried out, which began with the selection of the material of the systems, the guide system was taken first, where the support parts and the pneumatic system that would perform the movement of the same were calculated, then passed to the cutting system, where the material that would hold the blade was calculated, and consequently the calculations of the blade, continuous to this, the structure that would support the system as such was calculated and finally the pneumatic program for the operation of the cutting system and guides was presented. |
