| Summary: | In the present project, an alternative was developed for the management of industrial shedding of Coaspharma Laboratories, based on the result of the diagnostic characterization there were identified as critical parameters the Chemical oxygen demand COD (5020 mg/L O2), biochemical oxygen demand BOD5 (1730 mg/L O2), total suspended solids TSS (251 mg/L), phenols (1, 1 mg/L), fats and oils (30 mg/L). With those parameters been identified there were proposed mechanisms of chemical oxidation, coagulation – flocculation and pH neutralization with the objective of reduce suspension solids, organic material and Sludge thickening. |
