| Summary: | The textile industry, as responsible for the generation of a large amount of waste, seeks to reincorporate part of its produced waste into the production cycle. For this, several routes and methods of textile recycling have emerged that allow the fibers of the waste to be recovered in order to reduce the carbon footprint that is generated during the manufacture of the garments. The purpose of this work is to present the different methods for the recovery of textile fibers from textile waste, both traditional and new emerging technologies, to know their differences, compare them and determine which of these alternatives presents a greater benefit for recovery of fibers. |
