| Summary: | The study was conducted by collecting information from the field, developing a description of the polymer injection process and the rock's geomechanics. Then, the description of the conceptual model of the field was made; as a result, we produce various numerical simulation scenarios to observe the increased production arising from the process. Then, the results are observed to conclude about its feasibility through the simulation software Eclipse. To determine the best scenario, the different properties of the polymer changes were made and the iteration between it and the rock. After obtaining the results for production, once implemented the desired process, the impact it would have on the rock's geomechanics was evaluated. It was carried out to generate the geomechanical model of the field. |
